Martial art competition in Lam Dong
My trip began with a winding bus ride from Vung Tau City, where the bustling streets slowly gave way to misty mountains and tranquil valleys. The fresh air was a welcome change, and I felt an immediate sense of calm as we approached Lam Dong.
Karate is my childhood’s sport.
Karate has been my sport since childhood—the discipline that shaped my confidence, focus, and resilience. Traveling to Lam Dong for a competition wasn’t just another event; it felt like a homecoming to the spirit that has guided me for years.
The purpose of this journey was to participate in a regional karate competition. The event was held in a local sports hall filled with a bustling atmosphere. There, I was trained in the cool highland air which brought me excitement and also strengthen my physical and mental endurance. The competition was a challenging yet rewarding experience that pushed me to perform at my best and showcase my skills to a larger audience.
Facing opponents from throughout Vietnam reminded me of the discipline and respect that karate had implanted in me years before. Each match was not only just about technique; it was about remembering the journey that began when I first tied my white belt.

And of course, no trip is complete without exploring the destination itself. Located in remote area, our accommodation was surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful vacation after the intensity of the karate competition.
The serene surroundings allowed me to reflect on the significance of the competition and the personal growth it had brought me. It was a perfect balance of challenge and relaxation, making the trip truly unforgettable.
